How to Make Your Stream Look Clean Without Fancy Overlays

A lot of people think the reason their stream looks bad is because they don’t have overlays.

It’s not.

Most streams look bad for one reason.
They are cluttered.

Too many boxes. Too many alerts. Too many moving parts. Too many things on the screen that do not matter.

If you want your stream to look clean, do this.

  1. Make one main scene
    Game capture.
    Your voice.
    Optional camera or avatar.
    That’s it.

  2. Keep your camera or avatar in one spot
Pick a corner and keep it there.
If it moves every stream, it feels messy.
People like consistency even if they don’t realize it.

  3. Make sure the game is the star
If your overlay makes the game smaller, you are doing it wrong.
Nobody is tuning in to watch your border art.

  4. Use readable text
If your chat overlay or labels are tiny, it’s pointless.
    Big and readable wins.

  5. Limit alerts
Alerts are cool, but too many is chaos.
If your stream is constantly flashing, it feels like spam.

You don’t need fancy.
You need clean.

Clean is what makes your stream feel professional.
